Symptoms of Mitochondrial diseases

The symptoms of mitochondrial myopathies include muscle weakness or exercise intolerance, heart failure or rhythm disturbances, dementia, movement disorders, stroke-like episodes, deafness, blindness, droopy eyelids, reduced ability of the eyes to move, vomiting, and seizures.
